Children, infants, and toddlers whatever name you call them they are usually less than 4 years old and will need most of the protection during their upbringing. It is in this context, childproofing the home, keeping the hazardous things away from the reach of the children and preventing incidents from those materials becomes very importance. It has been estimated that worldwide, approximately 2.0 to 2.5 million children are exposed to hazards in the home every year, and some of them are lethal.

All the drawers and cabinets used in the kitchens, bathrooms and other such places need to be secured with safety latches or locks so that poisons, household cleaners, insect sprays, and other potentially harmful products are not easy to get to.

When a child is around in the house, it is essential that window guards and safety nets are put in place so that falls from windows or balcony by the child roaming around is avoided at all costs.

It is not only important that the child proof guards and safety products are in place, but also equally important is to ensure that they are installed in a proper manner and maintained periodically to avoid any accidents.
